Upcoming Changes to the Library Search Layer

Thu. Jun. 8, 2017

The Library’s discovery layer - the Library homepage search application that enables students and faculty to browse millions of books, journal articles, and videos located in the Library’s collection and beyond – will receive a significant update this fall.  In addition to a new user interface, the upgrade will include many behind-the-scenes changes designed to make searching easier.

The Library is running a trial period over the summer to smooth the transition and gradually introduce the university community to the new application.  Users are encouraged to visit our beta launch page to try the new product and learn more.  Information on how to submit feedback is located on our launch page, and as always, contact your liaison librarian if you require assistance accessing library collections or services.
