Oral History Information Session
Oral history is a method of historical and social scientific inquiry and analysis that includes life histories, storytelling, narratives, and qualitative research. The Oral History Centre provides training in oral history as well as consultation and support for oral history research projects at UWinnipeg. Membership is free to UWinnipeg students, faculty, and staff.
If you're interested in learning more about Oral History or what the OCH can do for you, sign up for our fall Oral History Info Session. This info session will begin with an introduction to the OHC and the support available for oral history research on campus and in the community—including workshops, class visits and guest lectures, research support, and the membership program.
The remainder of the session will be an open Q & A where participants will be invited to ask any and all questions, they have about oral history and the UW OHC
