Update Your Account Information


Library accounts for students, staff, and faculty are automatically generated from the University system. To change the name, address, or phone number on your library account, you will first need to update your information with the University.



Student accounts are managed by Student Central.

You can update your address, phone number, or email by logging into Webadvisor and navigating to Current Students > Academic Profile > Address Change. To update your name, you must complete the personal update form and submit it to Student Central per the instructions on the bottom of the form. Please note that legal documentation is required.


UWinnipeg Employees

UWinnipeg employees can update their address, phone number, and email by completing HR’s online change of address form.

To update your name, please contact with an updated SIN and any other supporting documentation.


External Borrowers

Patrons who are not currently enrolled at or employed by the University may update their account information by visiting the Circulation Department (4th Floor, Centennial Hall). Please provide your 14-digit library barcode for account verification. Please note that the library is currently closed to visitors. External borrowers are not able to update their account information at this time.
