Explore Our Redesigned Library Space!

Constructed in 1972, the Centennial Hall library facility has served the UWinnipeg community for almost 50 years. In that time, the building has aged, the student population has quadrupled, and the digital age has significantly changed the way we study, research, and learn. Working with the Indigenous Design Studio at Brook McIlroy Architecture, The University of Winnipeg Library is being redesigned to create an inclusive, accessible space.

We are extremely grateful to our students, whose support of this project ensures that the next generation has a modern space for studying and collaboration, a space that can adapt to technological advances, a space created with the environment in mind, and a space designed for inclusiveness and cultural preservation.
