Open Access Town Hall

Share your perspective on Open Access Policy for a submission to the Tri-Agency.

 
The Library and the Research Department are organizing a Town Hall on March 7 from 02:30 to 03:45 pm. Faculty and staff are invited to attend in person (3RC060, Richardson College for the Environment and Science Complex) or on Zoom.
 
This Open Access Town Hall is part of the revision process of the Tri-Agency Open Access (OA) Policy on Publication, announced on July 4, 2023. The Tri-Agency conducted a survey to obtain feedback on three main themes:  pathways to Open Access, building a culture of Open Access, and measuring Open Access. Written submissions are now accepted as well.
 
By participating in our Town Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to share your point of view on these topics. Your comments will be collected and provided to the Tri-Agency to represent the University of Winnipeg’s particular interests as a medium, student-focused, research-heavy institution.
 
A feedback survey will also be available from March 7 to March 14 (coming soon). Feel free to complete it if you cannot attend the Town Hall.
