Discuss information literacy, plagiarism and AI detectors
Join our librarian, Ian Fraser, for two workshops specifically tailored for Faculty and Instructors. During these one-hour online sessions, you'll discover techniques and strategies to enrich your students' learning experience. All workshops are held online from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Registration is required if you wish to participate.
- Information Literacy (November 20): Discover the tools and strategies you can use to integrate information literacy into your curriculum, fostering a positive learning environment for critical thinkers and proficient researchers.
- Plagiarism and AI Detectors (December 04): Learn how AI detectors work, what they can and can't tell us about a student's work, and what ethical issues you should consider before using them.
