Winter Break Reminders

Facility and Service Hours

The library is preparing to close for the University’s Winter Break. Library facilities will be closed from December 20 at 1:00 p.m. through January 1. The library will reopen with Winter Term hours on Thursday, January 2.

Please note that the Reference Desk and Help Chat will be closed on December 20 and will reopen with regular hours on January 6. Library materials returned over the break will be checked in when the library reopens and backdated to December 20.

Interlibrary Loans

Interlibrary Loans will be unavailable during the break and that Interlibrary Loan items cannot be backdated. All Interlibrary Loan items due during the closed period should be returned by noon on Friday, December 20. You can email ill@uwinnipeg.ca to request an extension, but renewals are at the discretion of the lending library and are not guaranteed.
