The Library is now inviting applications for the role of User Experience and Liaison Librarian. It is a 12-month term appointment expected to commence on August 18, 2025 or soon thereafter.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Dean of the Library, the User Experience and Liaison Librarian will be responsible for liaison duties for multiple subject areas as assigned and various duties based on operational needs, including but not limited to library assessment, data collection and analysis, and library systems. The role also includes in-person and online reference duties.
The successful applicant will possess a user-centred perspective, enjoy working collaboratively in a collegial environment, and be able to adapt to the needs and priorities of the Library with ease. They will hold an ALA-accredited Master’s degree in Library and Information Science or equivalent and preferably have one to two years of professional library experience.
