Ian Fraser
Head of Reference and Instruction
Ian is the functional lead for the library's Reference and Instruction units. His focus is on educating student, faculty, and community researchers on how information is organized and accessed – both in the academic library and society at large. While at UWinnipeg - including as a student long ago - he has developed professional expertise is in the areas of information literacy, information behaviour, and academic integrity and misconduct. Ian is currently a member of the Senate Academic Standards and Misconduct Committee (SASMC) and the Academic Integrity Working Group. In his personal life, Ian is a musician, hockey player, gardener, and parent to two children.
