Multiple Library Hosted Websites offline Sept 14 (resolved)

Please be advised that multiple library hosted websites are offline for an extended period due to an unexpected equipment outage.

These include:

• Winnspace Institutional Repository
• UW Hosted Scholarly Journals
• Our in-house link resolver (linkresolver and linkresolver2.webservices.library.uwinnipeg.ca URLS), which is mainly used for making interlibrary loan requests.
• Our old proxy server (libproxy.uwinnipeg.ca) which is still linked to by a small number of services. (most proxy links go to our main proxy server which is fine)
• and some other archival websites, including the Western Canada Pictorial Index and Classics Slide Collection.

Our core online services, including this website, the online catalogue, MyAccount, our main proxy server, and Ares course reserves all remain available and are unaffected.

We're working to resolve this as quickly as we can through the weekend. Updates will be posted here.
