Library Instruction for Fall 2021
Wed. Jul. 28, 2021
To help acquaint students with the campus Library, as well as strategies for accessing and using scholarly information, course instructors may wish to include content about the Library in their course(s), or invite a librarian to meet with their class.
Begin by checking out our videos and tutorials page, located under Help with Research on the Library website. These cover the basic process of finding and using academic information in a Library. Feel free to link to any of this content if it’s suitable for your course.
The librarians are also happy to offer live Library instruction workshops, either in-person or remotely over Zoom during your class times. Workshop content may include:
• selecting and refining a research topic
• accessing electronic books
• using databases to find journal articles
• identifying scholarly sources
• evaluating online content
• citing and referencing sources
To explore these and other options for Library instruction for your course, please complete the Library Instruction Request Form.
