Smart Lockers

Request your library books online and retrieve them from the UWinnipeg Library Smart Locker. Please wait until you receive an email notification indicating your hold is ready; books will not be ready for pickup before the notification is sent.

Notice: You will need to either have your library card (UWinnipeg ID card) or know your barcode number to pick up your items. If you have neither, contact and we will provide you with your barcode number. Please use your UWinnipeg email address so we can verify your identity.

Reminder: Per health and safety guidelines, all visitors must wear a mask when on campus.

The Smart Locker is accessible 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 7 days a week.

Note that staff are only available to provide assistance Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM. We recommend picking up during these hours if possible, in case any problems or questions arise.

The Smart Locker is located on the main floor of Centennial Hall, next to the escalators (east side).

To access the Locker during the campus closure, use the buzzer by the Centennial Hall main doors to request entry. Check in with Security, who will direct you to the lockers. Once you have retrieved your items, exit through the east doors. If you have previously borrowed books to return, you can do so at the drop box by the east doors.
