Databases
Scholarly databases organize research by discipline and format, so you can perform in-depth searches using subject-specific methods and language. While the majority of databases are repositories of scholarly journal articles, there are many devoted to other formats, such as primary and archival sources, news media, and streaming video.
You can access database content in a number of ways:
Search the Catalogue: The main search box on our homepage automatically searches a large number of databases from a broad, interdisciplinary perspective. You can use the sidebar to filter for academic articles, primary sources, or other formats. Use the advanced search option to view or change the databases included in your search.
Search Databases Directly: Use this option access our list of databases and select the best one for your needs. You can browse by discipline, format, publisher, or search if you have a specific database in mind.
